Looking in logs there's no security failures so I can only presume that something is wrong with the integration of HG with downloadstation or the NAS itself. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Anyone know the port that Happyget uses? I also cleared all cookies on the browser. I think it's this last step to clear the cookies that finally helped the Happyget login page working. Interestingly port pingtest and using the qnapcloudlink all work.
Anyhow - not HG at fault now for this last bit. Re: Download Station not working after firmware updates Quote Post by marosek » Wed Dec 05, am Hello, I can confirm that after firmware update the Download Station application is no more working. No errors but torrent is not starting download at all.
Same effect 3. Uninstalled the DL-station, then re-installed Firmware 4. Once the reboot after the installation was finished, the DL Station was again there in the app-center, again "off", and again I could not start it. In earlier times when I had such issues I was successful in starting the DL station from the iPhone app, but that also does not work this time. So currently there is no way how I can get the DL station started.
I am happy to receive any tips on how I can get it going again. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. What is not there, would usually be in appcenter, which would require installing an app, which will then add more options via that installed app.
There is also users where you can setup permission rights. Last edited by Moogle Stiltzkin on Thu Jun 13, pm, edited 1 time in total. Last edited by Moogle Stiltzkin on Thu Jun 13, pm, edited 2 times in total. THank you. This happened after creating a new user and logging with that user.
By default, it appears that new user as application privileges, but no shared folder permission and is not part of the administrator User Group.
Changing those last 2 things "fixed" the new account and all the expected items now show in the 3-bars-menu, including app center.
